computer case in a drawer
If you are tired of wrestling with cables and having to take everything apart just for a simple hard drive upgrade, this DIY “PC in a desk” could solve many of your problems. The basic idea was to build a computer inside a desk to hide all peripheral devices and cables. Many desks have large cupboards that may be the perfect place to store your PC tower, or, more often, your laptop hooked up to an external monitor. The desk drawer is used as the computer case and the creator carefully planned heat removal techniques (an oversized processor heat sink and a few extra fans). From anywhere in the room, this frame is out-of-sight, and only the above-desk hardware is visible.
